Registered Groups and ClubsRegistered Groups (also known as Registered Clubs)Registered Groups are student organisations that exist on campus but are not official student clubs. All Affiliated clubs must first become a registered group for a trial period. After one year a Registered Group may apply to become an Affiliated Club.
African ClubThe Monash African Club was formed several years ago to promote the African culture. It now has a varied membership base that includes international African students and African-Australian students. It also aims to include non-African students so they may learn more about African culture. It is a campus wide club that seeks to involve students from all Victorian Monash campuses. The club aims to provide greater representation to all African students at Monash. It hosts a number of events that are enjoyable and also create a positive awareness of the African continent to the non-African population at Monash. The African Club holds activities such as trips and tours, dance/party nights, sporting events as well as experience sharing meetings.
