Registered Groups and Clubs

Registered Groups (also known as Registered Clubs)

Registered Groups are student organisations that exist on campus but are not official student clubs. All Affiliated clubs must first become a registered group for a trial period.  After one year a Registered Group may apply to become an Affiliated Club.

African Club

The Monash African Club was formed several years ago to promote the African culture.  It now has a varied membership base that includes international African students and African-Australian students.  It also aims to include non-African students so they may learn more about African culture.  It is a campus wide club that seeks to involve students from all Victorian Monash campuses.

The club aims to provide greater representation to all African students at Monash.  It hosts a number of events that are enjoyable and also create a positive awareness of the African continent to the non-African population at Monash.

The African Club holds activities such as trips and tours, dance/party nights, sporting events as well as experience sharing meetings.
